You will be offering vital support tailored to our clients's needs in their homes. Your ability to assist individuals with varying levels of dependency and medical requirements is key. Our clients needs range from dementia care, mobility assistance, personal care, medication, general household tasks, companionship call, 24 hour care, hospital and/or doctor appointment visits to name a few.

- Compassion and empathy

Understanding and caring about a client's feelings, needs and well-being.

 

- Communication skills

Clear verbal and written communication is essential with clients, families and healthcare professionals. 

 

- Patience and understanding

Supporting clients with different needs at their own pace while maintaining a calm and reassuring approach.

-Respect and dignity

Honoring the person's privacy, choices and independence ( including their cultural values and preferences) helps them to maintain their identity. 

 

-Practical Care skills

Assisting with personal care, mobility support and meal preparation that are tailored to the clients needs as everyone is different and their individuality is respected and valued.

- Trust and reliability 

Our clients need dependable and consist carers so that they feel secure,  showing up on time as agreed to the care calls and follow through of the care plans builds a stable and lasting relationship. 

​

- Observational skills 

Recognising changes in a client's health, mood or behaviour and responding appropriately.
