Caregiver Compatibility:

At Adico Care, all of our staff are DBS checked and have achieved their Care Certificate. In addition to this our staff receive regular refresher training and specialist training to ensure that they can support each client based on their individual needs.
Space and Privacy:
Consider how the caregiver’s presence will affect your home’s dynamics and ensure there is adequate space for both the caregiver and the individual receiving care. A carer will required their own room. We ask that WIFI be available in the property to allow our carer to access care software to log notes and record medication.
Legal and Contractual Aspects:
Formal agreements should outline the caregiver’s duties and working hours. All live-in carers will require a 2hr break each day and this is usually covered by family or friends. Alternatively, Adico Care can organise a 2hr companionship visit with one of our domiciliary carers for ease.
